Established in 1998, we are Hong Kong’s leading liquid waste management company, with business lines including portable toilets, sewage management, and mechanical street cleaning. We manage a fleet of more than 80 specialized vehicles and employ more than 220 professionals.
With a track record of more than 20 years of serving customers from commercial, government, and events management segments, we help transform the sanitation business through providing innovative and eco-friendly solutions to customers, and by proving best-in-class service.
In January 2022, ESS was acquired by ADV Partners, a regional Asia Pacific focused private equity fund. ESS was formerly known as ISS Environmental Services (HK) Limited and was a 100% owned subsidiary of ISS Facility Services Ltd. (Hong Kong), an indirect subsidiary of ISS A/S, a global leader in facilities management solutions, listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
Our predecessor businesses included Reliance Environmental Services, a cleaning and environmental services business, which ISS acquired in 1998 from Jardine Pacific, and Environmental Services (ESGO), a large cleaning and facilities management business founded by AB Electrolux, and acquired by ISS in 1995.
